With the change of season comes the dropping temperatures.
Is it time to dust off the arm, knee or leg warmers for your early morning outing!
As well as for the simple concept of being comfortable and enjoying an outing, tendons (connecting muscles to bones) and ligaments (so bones to bones) do work better and less prone to injury when they are warm. Whilst these are all flexible in the very young, as soon as we hit 24, 25 or such ripe old ages we need to protect them more. What temperature this is is open for debate, but for me, as soon as it is below 12 degrees I protect the knees.
